Found Poem No.2

I

Cat’s whisker and crystal lightly firm

Used all day long as a new toy

Vacuum cleaners, trolley-buses

And a host of other devices

When reaching out for distant signals

To diminish the shrillness

II

The beat of a firefly’s wings in Timbuktu

A flash-lamp bulb in parallel

Unduly shortening the life

Something is still there, but not current

The advance and retreat of water

Small ripples on a placid pool

III

Hurtling from the sun

Waves travelling upwards

During magnetic storms

Slate-grey in colour

Distorted in synchronization

Heard in long and short bursts

IV

Above the earth extends the air

In the realm of theoretical speculation

Electromotive force

Irregular disturbance, emitted jerkily

The bridging of space is the first step

A vacuum is taken as unity
